View of boat launch to Mohawk River at Mohawk Landing – Jude Hazard

There is a small parking lot at the one entrance located at 640 Riverview Road, Clifton Park, NY. There is a bike rack on site.

The nature preserves shall be open for general public use from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset. These hours may be varied by the Town Supervisor for special events.

Mohawk Landing, a beautiful six-acre riverfront park, opened in 2009 near Riverview Orchards on Riverview Road in Rexford (Clifton Park), NY. The park includes a gravel and wooden boardwalk trail that runs across the property to the top of the riverbank. The scenic overlook includes several picnic tables.

A ramp utilizing the naturally occurring rock allows boaters to launch kayaks and canoes at the site, which is along the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway. The park also includes an entrance sign, parking and a welcome sign with a map at the beginning of the trail.

This is the perfect spot for a picnic, casual walk along trails or to sit and enjoy the view of the Mohawk River.
